I began my creative career in 1992 as a pyrographer, designing woodburning art for the top wood manufacturer in the craft industry, who also published my first instructional book for woodburning. I also began writing instructional books for decorative painting, designing projects for the leading craft magazines, and demoing and teaching my techniques at national trade shows. My journey has been a roller coaster ride over all these years! I'm happy to say there have been many ups, and also happy to say there have been several downs too--happy because we learn and grow from the downs. After all...a roller coaster ride would be nothing without the downs.

Although I've had the opportunity to wear many hats throughout the years, my passion has always been for the artwork. I can't believe it's been almost 14 years since I took the leap into licensing my art. Delightful images continue to dance through my head day and night. The fun part is being able to bring these images to life and watch them grow into a finished product for everyone to use and enjoy.
